a day at the apple orchard....

We had a great day at the apple orchard today. It was BUSY... they said that they had had 4,000 people pick apples!!! WOW! It was a beautiful day and all of the kiddos had a blast...so much to see, do and TASTE! We went to Edwards Apple Orchard in Poplar Grove. Jed's parents, Steve and Janan came and brought along their darling "new kiddos" Stello, Mikie and Tjaden. These three sweet kids are staying with them for a few months! We are loving having them as part of the family! Jed's sister Sara and her husband Chuck came as well with their three kids - Ben, Dominique and Elliott.

get ready for the trots today!! I remember when we would go apple picking we always got the runs because we ate so many sour apples and drank so much cider!.. Looked like so much fun. I have fond memories of apple picking. Love the pic of the girls with the apple bushel (framable.. send me the origianl).. but almost better is the last one with everyone crashed in the car!!!

How cute were those pictures - I loved the one with the girls totally conked out in the car!! Like Miriam said, many happy memories of our childhood took place at an apple orchard. I can still remember opening the door to our front sun porch and being hit with the smell of the apples in the bushel baskets!
